Composed of the Sofrigam group’s design offices, the CETI<\/strong> (Centre d’Expertise Technique et d’Ing\u00e9nierie – Centre for Technical Expertise and Engineering) is a fully internalised hub dedicated to engineering, product innovation and technical, regulatory and normative expertise.
\nIts mission is to design, qualify and develop both Sofrigam standard ranges and 100% bespoke solutions, in response to specific specifications.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n \n \t

Our teams develop passive and active isothermal solutions using rigorous, eco-design-based procedures to reduce weight, environmental impact, and logistics costs.

CETI has all the necessary in-house resources to:
\u2022 Perform thermal balance calculations, CAD design, and numerical simulations
\u2022 Prototype in our workshops
\u2022 Test solutions under the exact conditions specified in the technical specifications to guarantee technical and regulatory compliance. Thermal qualifications are conducted according to recognized standards or customer protocols, with an approach based on traceability, reproducibility, and continuous improvement.<\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n \n \t

Each development incorporates a life cycle assessment (LCA)<\/b> including uses, product lifespan, and logistics, in a demanding sustainability approach.

\u2022 The development of passive and active solutions for temperature-controlled transport
\u2022 The design of refrigerated vehicles (via Mirofret France, our integrated refrigerated bodywork specialist)

The CETI<\/b> relies on a multidisciplinary team of experts, engineers and technicians specializing in thermodynamics and refrigeration engineering<\/b>, recognized for their scientific and institutional contributions. Committed to the evolution of industry standards, they have notably contributed to the NF S 99-700 standard (AFNOR)<\/b> and the practical guide to the cold chain for medicines (AFF\/SFSTP)<\/b>.

A key player at the heart of industry developments.<\/b> An active member of leading organizations (IIF, AFF, AFNOR, SFSTP<\/b>), CETI participates in numerous European and international projects<\/b> on innovative materials<\/b>, such as vacuum insulating panels (VIPs), phase change materials (PCMs), and thermal storage.
