Inspired by Sofrigam’s recognised expertise in pallet containers, Initial Cargo combines thermal performance, robustness and lightness.

Thanks to its dimensions and weight reduction of over 40% compared with premium solutions on the market, it ensures smooth handling and reliable protection against temperature variations, as well as a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions and transport costs.

Uncompromising lightness: thanks to an optimised design, the Initial Cargo pallet box is up to 40% lighter than premium solutions, reducing fuel consumption, freight costs and your carbon footprint.
High thermal performance: the combination of polyurethane panels and phase change materials (PCM) ensures optimal thermal stability for up to 120 hours, with a hibernation capacity allowing this duration to be extended according to logistical needs.
Reusable and durable: designed to be integrated into the 3R circular programme, it promotes waste reduction and component recovery.
Simplified use: its intuitive ergonomics allow for loading in under three minutes, without complex packing-out for greater efficiency and fewer errors.
Ingenious design: in Quarter PMC format, it allows for the loading of large product volumes onto EU and US pallets with a usable height of 1320 mm. Its ArchTech technology optimises the arrangement of cold plates, ensuring sufficient thermal protection while reducing the quantity and mass of cold required.

Proven performance: tested according to the ASTM D4169-2023 standard, Initial Cargo ensures temperature maintenance for up to 120 hours and optimal mechanical resistance, even in extreme conditions.
