Since 2022, the SOFRIGAM Group has been committed to a Lean Manufacturing approach to significantly improve our manufacturing processes at our Monchy-Le-Preux production site.
Historically, we had two independent processes: one dedicated to the manufacture of gel packs and the other to the production of trays, resulting in a substantial stock of gel packs between the two stages. At the end of 2023, we merged these 2 processes into a single line, greatly improving our efficiency and inventory management.
To always be the best possible performers for our customers, our operational excellence through this Lean Manufacturing project since 2022 is already having significant effects and improvements on several levels:
